Instructors need for 5-day Survival Camp: July 20th - 25th
About
Survival Camp:
The Colorado Youth Program has 16
years experience providing world-class summer camp
experiences to teens. This summer
we are excited to partner with the United States Air Force to offer a
new camp
in the Rocky Mountains to kids whose parents are currently serving in
the Air
Force. Program
emphasizes environmental education, teambuilding and
backpacking
skills. Highlights for this camp include
a 3-day backpacking trip in Rocky Mountain National
Park, teambuilding, LNT
skills, and much more. This is a
high-quality, personalized program with just 9
kids and 3 staff in each group.
Field
Instructor Qualifications:
·
Applicants
must be at least 21
years of age, currently pursuing an education or have a BA/BS
·
Child
& Adult CPR
·
First
Aid, a WFA or WFR is a
bonus- each group with have at least one WFR
·
Experience
working with high
school-aged youth
·
Experience leading (or participating in) a
backpacking trip through a professional organization

this is contract work and
you must be available July 20th-25th.
Pay is $450 for the
5 days including room and board. Paid training will be provided prior
to
Survival Camp at a date TBD. Please call with any
